Presentation: Tour of EMD Millipore, Temecula

What does “EMD” of EMD Millipore stand for? …How does EMD Millipore connect to Merck – The Original? How long has Merck – The Original been in operation? …What does EMD Millipore do in Temecula? …Come find out the answers to these questions and many more as we tour through EMD Millipore, Temecula.  Our speaker will walk us through a brief history of Merck and EMD Millipore then take you on a tour of the many operations that go on at EMD Millipore, Temecula.

Please meet at EMD Millipore, Temecula at 6pm for the introduction, dinner and networking portion of the meeting.  The tour will begin promptly at 6:45pm.  We’re sorry, for your safety, we will not allow anyone to attend the tour once it has begun at 6:45pm.

Speaker’s Bio: Bill Avise is the Head of Operations for EMD Millipore’s Southern California sites in Temecula, San Diego, and Ramona.  He has been with EMD Millipore for over 7 years, and has previously worked in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry with Mallinckrodt as well as engineering design and construction with The Benham Group.  Bill holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
