Creating a Lean Culture

Abstract :

The Archimedes mathematical model estimates the percentage of heart attacks that could be prevented simply by controlling insulin
resistance. Over 40% of all heart attacks could be prevented through early detection and management of insulin resistance. Come learn the
most effective health risk assessment and intervention strategies associated the most likely, and often untreated causes of
cardiovascular disease.
Lean principles are based on the admired Toyota Production System. The concepts are easy to grasp and easily applied to manufacturing, administrative and service processes. Unfortunately many attempts to implement lean end up with disappointing results. This session will discuss how to create a lean culture that will enhance the success of lean implementation.

As a clinic participant, you will:

  • Understand what is needed to sustain lean implementation
  • Understand the need for a lean management system
  • Understand the principle elements of a lean management system
