As the Chair of our local ASQ section and on behalf of our board members, I hope that you had a very happy and enjoyable holiday season and I wish you all the best in the coming year.
Speaking of the New Year, our board members are working on making this year one of building our local section back up and working on providing the support our members need to move up and meet their professional goals. In order to do this we are looking for support from each and every member of our section.
This month we do not have a regular meeting planned, instead we are going to use our scheduled meeting time to have an organization meeting. I am inviting all our members, and anyone else interested in becoming members to attend our meeting this month.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 17th, and will be held at the Temecula Library, starting at 6:30PM, and there will be NO CHARGE for this special meeting. We are very serious about getting everyone involved, we plan to have an agenda that begins with Membership and ends with membership.
Some of the topics we will be discussing during our meeting are:

  • Membership
  • What is ASQ and what does it do for you.
  • Subject matter for each meeting
  • Our website
  • Training
  • Re-certification
  • Special events
  • Booster members
  • New officers for the upcoming year(s)
  • Goal settings
  • And any other topic that comes up
Please make plans to attend this very important meeting, meet your board members, network with local members, bring your own ideas for discussion, and above all, bring a Friend.
I hope to see and meet you all there, remember, it is free to attend and we are hoping to have a big crowd there to kick off our New Year together.
Please call me if you should have any questions or subjects you would like us to discuss.
